Hmm. It's so quiet. Well, what the hell...

Would join Erin and ChiKat in the dislike of RZ as Actor corner, though from all reports, she sounds likable as Person. Not saying she's bad at acting; I just don't enjoy her. Her voice bugs me, too, not just the eye thing.

Bummer about the "Possible indications of life on Mars, er... NSM what we were saying," thing.

Love the coat that kat p linked to. Love it. All the other vintage clothing was so pretty. Red dress that Steph first linked to and the green coat were my favorites.

I have a new purse, and it's more rectangular in shape than any I've had before. Longer, but not as tall, fairly wide, and it's so handy. It feels compact, but it actually fits a lot of crap, and it's easier to find it all. I'm pleased. Also, it's pretty.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh yeah: I don't really like Travolta in theory, but he won't keep me away from a movie that seems otherwise awesome. Tom Cruise ditto -- I liked Collateral OK. Also, I love The Rock, and also Dwayne Johnson.

And my leather coat has a big slit in the back, which totally makes it fly out behind me and be AWESOME. One day a couple of falls ago, I was wearing it with a turtleneck and flared corduroys, heading up past 110th Street on Broadway, and I totally felt like Shaft. Even though I was (and continue to be) a white woman.

OH! AND! No wonder I was freaking freezing on the way home -- it's twenty degrees out! Wasn't it just 50????

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

My current Masters program is turning me into a 16 year old, FYI.

You're smoking pot and having sex in various backseats?

Funny you should mention that in a post that mentions Travolta and movies... there's a scene in Face/Off where Nicholas Cage's character gets out of a car, and he's wearing a long leather coat, and it flares out behind him in slo mo, and it is SO COOL. I still remember that shot.

God, yes. In my head, I am as cool as all kinds of movie characters while wearing my leather coat. In real life, probably not so much.

You're smoking pot and having sex in various backseats?

Pretty much.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

It is a really cool shot, though I find it funny that he gets out of the car, does the cool slow-mo coat-flaring walk and then immediately trades the coat for a short one as soon as he's out of the wind.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm home, and I have tequila. I also have about 15 million hours of TV I could catch up on from the last week or two. What was really good/bad this week?

Are you ready to be strong?

OC was good. Point Pleasant sucked it. Poject Runway was amazing.

I missed the start of Project Runway, so I haven't been watching it. The OC is a good option.
