I have great love for The Rock, but my hate for Travolta is so large that I fear Be Cool is beyond my capabilities.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I loved Get Shorty so I can't wait to see Be Cool. And The Rock is generally funny as hell - much better actor than you'd expect.
It turns out I have no idea how long it takes me to get ready any more, so I have all this extra time now.
I have this problem, only the other way. I get in my car, and look at the clock and think, how the HELL did it get to be 8:45?
So on the OC Lindsey's house is Buffy's? I didn't know that.
So I woke up to a city in utter panic. City schools closed or delayed, traffic is a mess, blahblah. Why? Less than an inch of snow. Unexpected, but my good lord.
Heh. An inch of snow is barely worth mentioning here.
I am at work. I feel better, but still achy as hell. Today is the day the furnace is being replaced, so it's freezing in my office right now. That's not helping.
An inch of snow is barely worth mentioning here.
It's really not worth mentioning here. Except people seem to be made crazy by it.
I arrive at work within minutes of 2 hours after I haul ass out of bed. Unless I rush and that only gains me a few minutes. Coffee&paper&wakeup&cats, roughly 30 minutes. Shower+hair+makeup+a dawdle or two+clothes~1 hour. Drive in~15-25 minutes. And yet it always manages to be pretty much 2 hours.
This is why I don't get up early any more. The board is dead. I'm reduced to staring at my computer dumbly.
I just caught up on the OC.
I'm not high on this season like I was last season, but I still look forward to it, enjoy it, and don't feel dirty afterwards. Every time. The storyline that bugs many doesn't even bother me. I don't want conflict mined there, but there's no reason to keep it sacrosanct (in my eyes) because of that. It doesn't mean it can't make good TV. It does, however, mean that either they underestimated some of what they achieved last year, or they're trying to wean people off that particular part of the show.
Instead, I've become every week more and more of a Seth/Summer shipper. I hope Josh doesn't try and teach me any sort of lesson about detachment there.
I'm not happy with the way the people on the OC are behaving this year, but it's not impacting my enjoyment of the show. Yet. I could do with less Lindsey, though.
Also, I need these.
Not seeing the coming for Cumming, and I'm kind of an easy Brit-mark. Really must be skeevy, I think. But then, my type is odd, anyway. Rickman pings my Andre Braugher "You Just Sit Here and Read The Yellow Pages and I'll Watch, OK?" button. Not sure if it's a sexy button or not, but...could be. Can't see Buscemi as anything but loser racist Gordon Pratt anymore. And one of my fictional boyfriends blew his head so...
