ita was behind me on The List. No cutting in line.
Excuse me? There's only one person in line for fighting McGill alumni.
You can fight me for him, if you want.

Not so fast there, girlie.

You can fight me too. I don't want to seem exclusionary.
Hmm.
Pros: I'm closer to MN.
Cons: I'm askeert of you.
What do I want for lunch today?
Last night I had dinner at a Russian restaurant. The highlight of the meal was pumpkin vareniky - dumplings, more or less, seasoned with cumin and dusted with cinnamon. Fabulous. Also herring and borscht.
Mmmm.
Just had lunch at a Beacon Hill Italian place called Grotto.
Started with a garlic parmesan soup with toasted bread crumbs and a drizzle of pesto on top.
Followed it up with a mushroom risotto with roasted tomatoes, Reggiano and asparagus. I am now stuffed and eagerly awaiting the food coma.
Heh, accidental food porn x-posting.
Oh, and he's kind of geeky, in the cute way. Knows all the words to most of the 80s songs being piped over the sound system in the office.
I may have a small crush on him, in the "Handsome man. Saved me from the pain" sort of way, but I'm generous enough to share.
I don't know about lunch yet, but my dinner will be sushi, omakase style. I'm a little scared.
Okay, I can't compete with the food porn, though I *am* eating strawberries that, given the time of year, must surely be hothouse strawberries, which normally have NO flavor, but they are really really good.
I hate the world.
D'oh. So the stupid people didn't get smarter overnight, then?
My day has been odd. I got to work at a decent time, even though the roads weren't in great condition. I nabbed the last chocolate-filled donut in the break room. My work load is insane, but I'm too emotionally vacant to care, so it'll get done or it won't. I look out the window one minute, it's a blizzard; I look out the window the next minute, it's blue skies and sunshine.
It's kind of like being stuck inside a cubicle snow globe.
