VW! Yay you!

And you did it as a surprise to yourself, as well, what with sneaking up on yourself in the middle of the night and showing you what you could do! That's awesome.

If you're not sleepy now, I vote for you doing something that spoils you. You've earned it. Hot chocolate and a fun already-beloved book/movie?

Congratulations, vw!!!!! Finished papers are AWESOME.

Hi, Nilly!

I'm debating walking over and practicing piano right now (in the (detached) customer service building for my apartment). I like going now, or at least late at night, not usually this late though, because there's no one around to listen to you practice, so there's no pressure, and you can make as many mistakes as you like. And my teacher has decided that she wants to institute something new in class tomorrow, where she'll randomly call one of us to play one of the pieces we've been working on for the rest of the class. Also known as torture. Actually, I think I've just talked myself into practicing. Sleep is for wusses. Thanks, guys!

Well, I had wanted to have it done on Monday, so at this point it's just good that it's done. But some hot chocolate does sound good. I just might do that. I also may head back to bed for a few hours.

Go, Alibelle! Have fun practicing (and give that teacher a dirty look from all of us, k?)

Ali! Good luck with the practicing. Just take care with the walking around at night and everything, OK? t /Jewish mom, even without actually having kids, and no biological possibility of mothering anyone Ali's age

Night, vw. Hope you wake up with a big smile, because you've totally earned it.

RIght now I'm trying to read an article I'm supposed to talk about in a "History and Philosophy of Science" class on Sunday. Emphasis on "trying", because most sentences in the article seem right now to me to have the same meaning as something like: "And it's fair, as well as spicy, which means yesterday followed. This brings us to the conclusion that 17." - I think I understand each of the words, and the ones connecting them, but the sentence itself makes no sense at all.

Hey, last night before logging off, I warned you that I may be whiney, and now I follow through.

What is even happening?

Nilly, I am also whiney, because I am terribly ill unto death, or possibly have a mild head cold. Okay, I have a stuffy nose. Still? I am so whiney.

"And it's fair, as well as spicy, which means yesterday followed. This brings us to the conclusion that 17."
Hee!

Nilly, that was so amazingly whiny. Ohmygod. I don't think we can be friends. I mean, you could've just written two sentences that were funny, and accurately described something I think everyone has experienced at some time or another. But no. Not you. You had to go on and on and on about the pains and trials of your life, just all crying and complaining, and being a baby about all of it. I mean, that's just so like you.

:^)

Okay, now that I've practiced (and it's a pretty safe area of outside, still within the walls of my apartment complex, so no worries. But thank you for your concern!), I think I might go to sleep, since I inexplicably kept myself up all night last night, for no reason in particular, and if I stay up much longer I'm going to start to get hungry, and then I'll never sleep ever again.

I hope you have a lovely day! And that the words contort themselves into a position that makes sense soon.

ETA: And good night to Cindy, too!

Oh, Cindy, my sister in the "community of miserability", which carries a minimum whining threshold as an acceptance condition! Let's sit (with a tiny ocean apart) together, wave our fists keyboards at the cruelty of the world, and shed bitter tears about our lack of any light at the end of the long, dark, cold and slippery tunnel of troubles the universe keeps throwing at our doorsteps, without giving us tools to stand guard in front of them.

[Edit: totally an x-post with Alibelle. Night, Ali!]

Um, I mean, I'm sorry that you're not feeling well, and hope none of your family members catches anything from you.

What is even happening?

Nilly, I meant to say before, you did a good job of cyber-mothering Alibelle.

I caught this from Chris, who caught it from Julia. I am hoping it is only a cold. Julia and Chris are the only people in the family who could get a flu shot this year, and the flu has been going around Julia's classroom. Since they had the flu shot, if they caught anything it might only manifest as a cold. But I can't complain, as apparently even the Pope couldn't get a flu shot.

Wait, I can complain! Oh, goodie! I'm sure this will make me eligible for high position in our whiners' corner. We should have snacks! There are still a couple of months until Passover, right?

I think I might go to sleep, since I inexplicably kept myself up all night last night, for no reason in particular, and if I stay up much longer I'm going to start to get hungry, and then I'll never sleep ever again.

Goodnight, Alibelle. I woke at 4:15 my time, and there was a point to make about me waking up in my time zone around the same time you'll probably fall asleep in your own, but I've been drinking coffee for 2.5 hours, yet still can't remember it.

vw, how goes it?
