GG last night made me cry harder than any TV show in recent memory. I was fine until the phone call, and then Lorelei called Luke her best friend, and I just fell apart.
I'm not entirely happy with the Rory/Logan thing. I like the relationship, and I like Rory in it, but damn, couldn't there be one guy in her life who doesn't tell her how uniquely special she is? Couldn't there just be someone who sees her as hot and smart and funny, but way too much of a neurotic control-freak to get serious with? It bugs.
I hated Down and Out. Wise bum who manages to give the rich people exactly what they need in their lives, which for both female characters is basically just a good screw.
So instead of being a Magical Negro, he's a Magical Hobo?
But do we think that Logan is actually falling for Rory ? Or is he just enjoying the relationship as stated last week ?
All I know is that last week, when Rory said, essentially, "I would like to have sex with you," his answer was, "I can't do that! You're special and deserve better than a lout like me can give you!" Feh.
Yeah, but Down and Out had one of the best opening credit sequences ever. Not that I particularly want to see the rest of the movie ever again so much, but I want to OWN the opening credit sequence.
sumi, I take him at his word that he isn't gonna look for anything deep. This is just fun and it lasts as long as it lasts. I do not believe for one second any of what Rory said last week about being ok with that anmd not wanting a relationship.
But it is possible that I am projecting. similar situation in college.

I slept like AWESOME last night, and now feel fabulous. Or at least well-rested. Phew.
