That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

So we can set it on fire and laugh and laugh and laugh?

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Is there a Hilary Duff Barbie too? Then we could make 'em fight. ON FIRE!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

The iPod went flying when I took it out of my pocket, and it wound up in a sink full of running water. It was on at the time, so I hope the poor little guy didn't fry. It's propped up and draining right now.

I did register it with Apple, so I'm hoping that if worse comes to worst, my AppleCare will cover it.

Flea, I'll check out that link, thanks.

ION, I'm about 1/6 the way done with repainting the basement. It's tricky because it involves moving a lot of stuff out of the way then moving it back.

Up with the sun

The ring Rio linked to made me want a big shiny diamond ring. (I had a sapphire. Which I couldn't find the last time I looked for it, because I usually just wear my wedding band, and therefore put the sapphire someplace so safe I couldn't find it. Which is part of the reason why it would be a Bad Idea for me to have the kind of ring that costs more than a car, anyhow.)

Also, her wedding dress sounds gorgeous.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I thought the whiskers were just for the special Conceptual Art Correspondent bit. I loved how it was totally cracking up Stewart.

Colbert was trying not to crack up while stroking his beard five times.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

RIO! and dresses and rings, Oh MY!

I just watched Jack & Bobby last night too. I love Jack and Bradley Cooper is the hot.

I am so pleased with myself for taping things I want to keep off of my DVR, I transferred 4 more shows last night.

ALso? I slept in today, like seriously late for work. I figure I'll stay a little late tonight and I have a late meeting tomorrow night too. I feel better which is all I really care about because this morning when I first woke up, I was asslike.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Here's my issue with big rocks: (And this is not to say anything about anyone else's choices.) I would really like not to want them. Politics, corporate brainwashing, etc., blah blah blah. But then I see some nice diamond ring, and I'm all WANT!! Hence the hoping it's just never an issue.

Are you ready to be strong?

Well I wouldn't let him get me a NEW diamond, unless it was factory made, because I don't want to give DeBeers any business.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Rio, you know we were just talking about all this the other day, right? bon bon was looking at rings. Hypothetically. For fun.

YOU PEOPLE NEED TO STOP WITH THE BEING ENGAGED. Ahem. I mean, of course I'm thrilled for your happiness, I am just seeing an unflattering greediness within my own self.
