Are you ready to be strong?

NILLY!

Hey the reason I asked you about Etgar Keret is because I know him! And I had a weird feeling he was like superfamous in Israel but he is supermodest and never talks about that, so I had to ask you.

Do you know who Shira Geffen is? They just got married.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

What's a comfort fit?

The inside of the band is shaped to allow it to slide on and off more easily and fit more comfortably when it's on -- it can make an especially big difference if you have big knuckles, or a wide ring.

I'm terrified of the wedding-y trivia in my brain. I did not ask for this knowledge!

I know him!

Oh, wow. Yeah, he's definitely superfamous in Israel. And dozens (not exaggerating) of young writers try to practically imitate his style, let alone being influenced by him.

Of course, now I have the silly urge to stalk him just in order to ask him "How is Rio like in real life?" and then explain about Saget, too. How did you get to meet him at all?

Do you know who Shira Geffen is?

Oh, yes, definitely. She's less famous in her own right in Israel, though (despite her talents). You do know that her brother (Aviv) is a very famous Israeli singer and song-writer, right? And their father, Yehonatan (Hebrew for Jonathan) writes too [Edit: well, not "too", because he came first. I mean, I grew up on some of his children songs] - a very talented family.

They just got married.

I knew they were a couple for a long time, I can't remember if I had known that they were not officially married. That's lovely.

What is even happening?

This is my big fear. The only hope for me, I'm afraid, is to marry someone poor and practical, so I don't have to worry about it.

Or, you know, not to sound like a matchmaker, but why not someone comfortably wealthy, so you don't have to worry about.

My next husband...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Or, you know, not to sound like a matchmaker, but why not someone comfortably wealthy, so you don't have to worry about.

What I'm afraid of is being taken over by the blinglust, due to various [mostly non-financial] reasons. If ice is not an option, I don't have to worry.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

NILLY and RIO!

This is great morning.

Got here early, so to be all accomplished before going on vacation.

Flying to CA tomorrow! (Sacramento-Grass Valley area)

I thought I would have the blinglust, then... not so much. It just seemed so unimportant compared to getting to spend the rest of my life with TomW.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Already is has not been a good day.

Does anyone know if iPods will recover from being submerged?

NORA! Have a great vacation! For how long are you going?

blinglust

It's a very cute word, which sounds exactly like its meaning, if I'm making any sense, and I'm not sure I am.

Anne! It's been forever since I posted with you - how are you doing?

[Edit:

It just seemed so unimportant compared to getting to spend the rest of my life with TomW.

I just love it when Nora (or, well, anybody) says stuff like that. I should be in the dictionary next to the definition of "sap"]

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Hey you guys I bought a wedding dress over the weekend. And tried on several insanely gorgeous diamond rings. I feel kind of dizzy.

Mrs. Rio Saget.

It just sounds so RIGHT.
