I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

This Salon article on Social Security benefits immensely from what I assume is a misplaced comma:

So far the gambit has yielded little success; even Democrats, who've previously been friendly to Bush's domestic policies, are now expressing unambiguous opposition to this idea.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I just e-mailed the Chicago Tribune about the very cute photos from the Westminster Dog Show that they have linked from the main page. Adorable pics, but the caption writer has "its" and "it's" confused, which is my main grammatical pet peeve. It's a really nitpicky reason to e-mail them, but I just had to vent--I expect to see such mistakes in the Joliet paper, but not the Tribune.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I love that part of the Trib website, grammatical errors or no--it was my favorite thing to lookat in the morning at work this summer.

Trust my rage

I'm watching the Dog Show now. It's so fun, but the commercials are making me cry. I'm such a sap for dogs.

"Dog Show" & "pet peeve". hehehe

Going nuts now. :P

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

For those watching the Westminster Dog Show, isn't the St. Joseph's aspirin commercial one of the most sweetly geeky things ever?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So, 24. I suspect Tony is this year's George Mason/Ryan Chappelle.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Gronk!

I'm just getting over my sinus problems and now I have the flu! Had to leave work, came home and slept for 5 hours. I don't think I'm going in tommorrow either.

ION I'm watching 24 and there was a commercial for That 70's Show and Eliza Dushku is going to guest star.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

It hurts to try and put your entire fist into your mouth.

Is that the one where they are singing about the left ventricle and so on? If so, I like it to. The "We're For Dogs" one makes my throat get all tight every time, even though I know how cheesy that is and I don't even like Pedigree.
