And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Okay, random question -- if you saw an ad on Craiglist for a "white student desk," what would you assume was for sale? (Presuming that the seller had placed the ad at work without access to either the desk in question or her digital camera, and therefore unable to provide pictures.)

'Cause I just got a really weird response that was either a joke, or was accusing me of racism. Or maybe both.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wheee, it works!

For some. I'm seeing floopy red Ys. ♥, OTOH, should be pretty much reliable.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I would assume one of those white melamine Ikea-like thingies that eveyone has.

Trust my rage

ita's hearts are red lines to me.

noumenon's hearts look like hearts.

I got about 200 Hershey's kisses from DH today, along with a giant Hershey's kiss. It was lots of fun to open the package, especially because i know he ordered it a few weeks ago.

Art Crawl!!!

Apparently, there were 27 pugs at the show. (There were more entries but several were absent.)

What is even happening?

Y

Julia and Benjamin both had Valentine's Day parties in school, today. They brought in their little Valentine cards, and I supplied the cupcakes for both classes. I couldn't make them, though. I had to buy Hostess Chocolate cupcakes. Because of allergic students, the school has a prepared list of packaged foods we can serve at parties, and a permission slip comes home before every party, and we have to initial each item that our children can eat.

Chris had his party last Thursday, because he only has pre-school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I forgot all about his party until 8:15, I think. School starts at 8:30 for him. So, I sat down at my PC and made an acrostic Valentine Card in Word. I used a kiddish font, and put a clipart heart at the top, and he signed them in red marker, at the bottome. We taped 'em up, and he brought 'em to school. The pome, can be y'alls Valentine, too.

Very good friends

And special times, together

Love and laughter

Each time we're together

Nice Memories

To cherish

In my heart

Now and forever, and

Ever

...

(Yes, I am a giant dork--but the four year olds won't know this for another couple of years.)
