Whoa, that was ComaBoy? I didn't recognize him. Then again, I've only seen like two episodes of Everwood.
And it really seems like they're growing tired of the Voices from the Future. They seem far more thrown in for the sake of the format, although it seems like Bobby McAllister will have the Most Eventful Presidency Ever.
What's the what about wedding dresses and sleeves?
Apparently the bodice is generally too heavy to do sleeves very well or very fitted.
Even if you end up buying a fake or antique or whatever I think it still contributes to the DeBeers-created mythology that one must only have a diamond and a diamond is forever and rare and all that nonsense.

I'm thinking of the 80s, where the bodices ran overdecorated, and the sleeves ran puffy. But, in general, that premise requires a much more specific definition of a wedding dress than I have.
Any stone you like can be used for an engagement ring. You might look at antique and estate jewelry. Sometimes an old gemstone, like emerald, ruby, sapphire, even amethyst, can have a cut that's no longer common, a deeper color, even if it has flaws. A friend was given her fiance's grandmother's diamond, and they had it reset. It had a small top surface area, but was very deep, so they had it put in a setting that showed off that depth. And since the light got to it from the sides and underneath, it really showed off its depth and sparkle.
I also know several women who had antique colored gemstones reset, or had the antique settings resized and repaired to use as their engagement rings.
