Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Gus, I can't even begin to imagine...."welcome home" doesn't quite cover it.

I skipped 3000 messages. Someone let me know if I missed something important.

Happy birthdays to those I missed and ~ma for all who need it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hi Maria! I think everyone else went away.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm still here! But I'm working on my thesis outline and talking to DebetEsse about porniness.

Hi Lee! I seem to have that effect on people....it looks like I killed Bitches as well.

I swear I showered today.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm still here, but I'm about to go to bed. (I'm trying to condition myself into waking up earlier, so that I'll be awake for my 8 AM on Thursday. It's not working so well.)

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Eeek Erin. I always tell the kids if they see or hear someone strange in the house to head to a neighbors. I would not confront anyone. Chicken shit am I. DH on the other hand would go apeshit on anyone in his castle.

I think this is all well and good, as you're wee and pixie-ish and your DH could probably pick somone up by the neck one-handed Vader style if he were of a mind to.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Thanks, darling! I'm pretty fucking hot stuff....'cept that wasn't me, it was erinaceous. But we both have funky glasses and a deep need to define words.

Oops, sorry! Maybe I need a Buffistas In Style magazine, so I feel like less of a dork.

He's great in Tigerland, Intermission, and Minority Report (in which he acts Tom Cruise off the screen).

Mmm. Yes. And also in The Recruit.

Also, also? My best friend just called me and she might come out and visit me in February, and I am SO EXCITED. This needs to happen.

hip deep in pie

I'm here, but not really. And I really need to go to bed. The caffeine I had earlier today hasn't worn off, it seems, and I should really take advantage of this manic energy, as I was in a fog all day.

The only problem? I have to get up again in 6 hours. And with less than six hours sleep...the return of the fog.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

That was pretty freaky, aurelia. The one I caught, anyway, with the girl and the janitor. Stay safe.

Thanks, brenda. I'm mostly concerned about my friend who lives in that building. The other story was about a dorm fire at Loyola. It sounds like they got that under control pretty quickly.

The Jack and Bobby promo, where Jack is naked and tied to the tree. SO cute.

?!
Off to check out WB info.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I imagine Colin Farrell's eyebrows are silky soft, to go with his deceptive boyishness.

I have a mouse. I don't know the exact definition of "mouse" in this context, since I'd have called it a slight black eye. Living and learning.

And using Mr. Happy and Miss Helpful.
