Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Somehow I knew you'd understand, Alibelle. Vanilla latte, yum!

Well, some of us have really good taste, and that's always easy to recognize. Also, hi!

Up with the sun

Matt, I hope your date is going well.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hey everyone.

I skipped over a bunch of posts. How is everyone?

I went to Ikea today. I didn't buy anything particularly interesting, though. I wanted to get a file cabinet and some CD storage, but the file cabinet was too expensive and none of the CD storage options were quite what I was looking for.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Actually, my date just cancelled, as he's feeling ill and has a slight fever. But calling to let me know ahead of time and ask for a rain check puts him ahead of about 95% of the guys I've made dates with.

Our wings are not tired.

Nora, we share in your pain over the OC nastiness. How dare they!

Hope Matt is having a lovely time.

Robin, you can always email pictures to people who would happily post them.

I had a lovely day. While the boys were playing basketball GF and I layed out on towels outside the gym and caught some rays. I was a glorious day and neither of us could remember the last time we just closed our eyes and sunbathed. Then we went bowling which was a rocking good time. Home for dinner and watched Barney Miller DVD's. Yep, not a bad day.

Hil, wasn't there some kind of bad crowd problems with a London Ikea opening a couple days ago in the news? We probably have them around here somewhere, but I am without knowledge.

edit on xpost - Sorry Matt, but I agree that the call sounds like a good sign.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That does sound like a great day, Laura.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

If you don't go through your bank, what do you have to have in order to get it from some other place. If you don't go through your bank, what do you have to have in order to get it from some other place ?

I've ordered my checks from Checks in the Mail [link] for years. They're normally fast and I've never had any problem with them. They require a voided check.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Vortex, there wasn't any text after "Basically,".

I wanted to know what happened in the first part of the episode. I missed the beginning.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

For those who worried, the chocolate substitution worked just fine. Also ... chocolate buttercream is delish.
