Anya: It's lovely! I wish it was mine! Oh like you weren't all thinking the same thing. Giles: I'm fairly certain I wasn't.

Our wings are not tired.

Yuck, I didn't need to see that tattoo before breakfast.

JCPenney is using a cover of "99 Red Balloons" in a Valentine's Day commercial.

Not only did they use the song but they elevatorized it shamefully. I was not pleased.

Woo Hoo and
Happiest Birthdays to Kristin and Maria!

Welcome to the world Abraham! Congrats to the Hayden parental units.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Timelies!

I wish I had a fancy and yummy breakfast food right now like pancakes or waffles or bacon or something. But there is just coffee, and if I want anything else, it's cereal.

Also, while she's adorable, Cat is driving me batshit. She won't not be on me, and she won't stop picking me or the couch. I need to find a way to curb the kneading thing.

What is even happening?

Lyra, that's just too much. Oh, dear.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Welcome, Abraham! Congrats, haydens!!

Happy birthday, Maria and Kristin!

I have nice homemade biscuits and coffee for breakfast. Yum.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Congratulations to the Haydens! Happy Birthday to Maria and Kristin!

I must do my dishes, clean my apartment, and do all five loads of laundry today, as well as finally get around to installing my new bedroom blinds for which I bought the cordless screwdriver weeks ago, and all while just wanting to curl up with a heating pad on my lower back and stomach. I hate my body every five weeks or so. Well, actually, I hate my body pretty much all the time, but right how it's really achy. Bleargh.

Timelies!

Art Crawl!!!

Congratulations to the haydens! Welcome Abraham! As an Illinois resident, I can't help but notice that he was born on the eve of Lincoln's birthday. (Unless he was born after midnight -- in which case - he shares Lincoln's birthday.) An auspicious time for Great Abes.

My cats are very chatty. I believe that not only may one of them have been naturally chatty but people who talk to their cats make them chattier.

Also, I know plenty of sweet and snuggly dogs who also are vocally demanding and opinionated. Sometimes, it's just a matter of time.

But Layla sounds like a sweetie.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Y'know, I love the Goo Goo Dolls, and I love tattoos, and yet I still wouldn't get a lyric line of theirs tattooed on my back. She is so going to regret that one in 15 years.

Timelies. I was woken up by the sound of my husband working out and watching The Simpsons. There are worse ways to wake up, I guess, but it's still too early.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Congrats to Hayden & Mrs. Hayden!

Happy Birthday, Kristin and Maria!

STOOPID commercial! People, you know the 99 ballons go on to CAUSE WORLD WAR THREE, right? In the song you've used for your valentine's day commercial?

Maybe it's the same ad execs that used that Zoom Zoom Zoom song in a car commercial while blithely ignoring that the auto execs might be amongst the first whiteys against the wall in its context?

The status is NOT quo.

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the birthday wishes!

Oo, and congrats to the Haydens! Wonderful news.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Zoom Zoom Zoom song in a car commercial while blithely ignoring that the auto execs might be amongst the first whiteys against the wall in its context?

It's just a general song about killing. No need to segregate by race. Historically it was mostly black on black that the song was about, in fact.

I drink coffee way too slowly -- it's always lovely to open a new bag, because it tastes so much better.

CONGRATULATIONS ON MINI HAYDEN'S ARRIVAL!!
