Wesley: Illyria can be...difficult. Testing her might be hard without getting someone seriously hurt. Angel: We'll make Spike do it. Wesley: Good.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

There was all pinks and golds before the actual sunrise this AM. Yay east-facing windows!

Timelies! I've largely skipped these past few days, but happy birthdays to those that have 'em.

Now I must go fetch Cat Food, or face the terrible Death By Whining and Occasional Scratching.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I am working today!

Eeeek! On the working.

I am not working, but I'm getting useful things done. Well, at least as soon as I get dressed and leave the goddamned house....

hip deep in pie

Happy Birthday Kristin and MFNLaw!

Congrats to Hayden and his DW. Welcome Abraham!

Nora, that sucks. Today is all about schoolwork for me. I think it may require coffee.

Up with the sun

I suspect that some of the name changers got mixed up--maybe you and Lyra Jane, as you both changed to L names, and Lyra got married in the last couple of years?

I bet that's it, though I would not have made the connection -- I just assumed Lysana had a graduate degree I didn't know about.

I don't even like the name Cynthia.

It's my mom's name. Which is not pro- or con- Cynthia --I think it's a pretty name but a bit too frilly for me to use -- but merely a data point.

ION, WHY am I up at 8:30 on a Saturday?

Trust my rage

I'm eating pancakes and watching Shakespeare in Love. Not the most productive use of my time, but a nice break for me.

What is even happening?

I'm sitting here, watching my name being dissed. I've had worse mornings.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

ION, WHY am I up at 8:30 on a Saturday?

I asked my self the same question. I am giving myself until noon to be a self-indulgent slug. Then, back to work on the house.

I rise with the sun. Generally, I don't have a choice. Especially with the cats around for sunrise backup duty.

Reasons to proofread your tattoo.

(Though in her journal, she says the typo is on purpose, and OMIGOD why are people so MEEEEEN. So maybe the link should really say, "reasons dumb people shouldn't get tattoos.")
