"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Bride and Prejudice? Cute. Not life shattering. There was a weird mix of either too much or too little dancing. And some useless characters. And people who weirdly resemble other people.

but it made me laugh.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Me too. It also confirmed that while Sayid is mine, Naveen is still up for grabs.

Hi Thomash! It's actually really nasty out, here. The drive home was not pleasant.

Jumping ahead...

Well, I didn't know about Lysana, but I think she was in school when I was posting with her a lot. I know I was around when she got married. And then there was the handle change, you never really recover from that.

Noumenon, I'm having a catastrophic context loss. Who was in school when you were posting a lot? And where do I come into this?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Hayden, and welcome, Abraham!

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Congratulations, hayden!

Also, in the summer, the Seeds of Peace kids go on outings and you'll see them here and there- it's really neat to talk to them for a minute.

I suspect that some of the name changers got mixed up--maybe you and Lyra Jane, as you both changed to L names, and Lyra got married in the last couple of years?

Congrats to the Hayden family!

We registered today. Baby stores are scary. Husbands trying out the travel systems are adorable.

Gah. This kicking and squirming is getting less and less comfortable by the day. It feels like she's managed to start a conga line with herself in here.

BabiesRUs? Did you stop halfway through and take a break in the glider rockers?

I remember it being much more overwhelming and bewildering than registering for our wedding because it's not like towels, sheets, flatware, and pots and pans were something we'd never experienced before--we just got new, somewhat better stuff that matched. But with BRU it's like you're in a foreign country at first.

I took a break in the gliders near the end, but they're all the way in the back of the store, and therefore were not there when I needed them halfway through the carseats.
