This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So true about the lack of boundaries and lines.

Pfft, again. It's all lines, and hierarchies for them. Rules, and punishing the breakers, habits developed by consistency of treatment.

Thanks for the pics, Steph! I had the glasses one, but you made me realise I'd been filing him as chow yun fat and yun fat chow, so now that's cleared up, and the hands are added.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Thanks, Sumi! you're just helping me prove the wrongness of ita.

Also, love the thread title! Go, Dana!

Kristin, they love hedgehog. But not as much as they love Bite the Man. Bite the Man has the other advantage of lasting forever. Which is good because I don't think Restoration Hardware carries them anymore.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Kate! Did you carpool today? If not, any interest in dinner in Hartford?

Coding and Sleeping

Yay, homemade pzza dough.

Oh, bake at 500 degress for about 15 minutes. I'm not a real precise cook so my cups aren't level and you might need to add flour/water until you get the right feel to the dough.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm 500 behind in the old Natter. Smiling Bear will just have to wait. However backpack Bear is adorable. So much for that "quickly catch up" theory...

Kristin, yeah, I carpooled today. But! Tomorrow I am not carpooling, because I'm staying in Hartford to (finally) see the show. Any chance you could do dinner then?

what's on the menu for the day?

hmm, what's healthier -- a side of fries or 3 chicken wings?
