Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

How do they cook the meat, Kalshane? If it's thrown down on a griddle-thing (griddle isn't quite the right word, but I can't think of the real one) and cooked in front of you, it sounds like a close cousin to a cheesesteak. Otherwise, it sounds like a fancy roast beef sandwich. Either way, it sounds yummy.

I'd really like to have a proper cheesesteak again one of these days. I don't get quite as nostalgic for them as I do Alabama barbecue, nor even a proper Italian hoagie NOT from a Subway or Quizno's, but they're still good stuff.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sure, I get home and everyone else goes to bed.

Guess I'll just go stack some cats.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Kalshane, Italian Beef is a Chicago specialty.

It's very yum, though. You can get a knockoff at Quiznos incidentally.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

love brussel sprouts - and although there is a relationship to cabbage, they are different.

never tried raw beef, otherwise I pretty much like everything people mentioned to eat. Even stuff I haven't had.

it took me way to long to figure out the different clicks.

Anyone can learn to program, but not everyone can be a programmer. You should authentically enjoy the work if you're going to prosper in a career as a programmer."

this was the conclusion of everyone in my one programming class.

DH ( whom I admit is brilliant) does not have as CS degree. However he took advanced math classes and some programming. He ( along with his brother in the middle ) has a brain that seems to be wired like a data base - except without the limitations. his BA is in hisory - His masters is in English with an emphasis in linguististic. Even with programming languaes he doesn't know - he can often see problems because he recognizes things like never ending loops - etc. When he worked for a buy out firm the partners had him read legal contracts to find things like loop holes. He is a senior sys. amin ( UNIX) . did I mention he is brilliant?

I've finally grown into liking asparagus. But it took a while.

I'm a weirdly picky eater.

Are you ready to be strong?

I make brussels sprouts so they are crispy and greasy and salty. Like popcorn with vitamins. Mmmmmm.

I think I've only had Brussel sprouts once when I was a kid.

It qualifies as food I didn't like enough to try again.

I don't like brussel sprouts, and I am allergic to cabbage.

Our wings are not tired

I didn't like brussel sprouts growing up, but my mom adores them and always cooks them. Starting around 10 years ago I ate them again and now look forward to having them and really enjoy them.
