We met what I think is going to be our new dog today. She's seven-months-old, part Chow and part something else, maybe Golden, and cute, bouncy, and amiable. She's already housebroken and knows sit and down.
The rescue person who she is living with was all tatted and pierced out and had a huge "Lord of The Rings" map over her fireplace. She had a Buffista feel, which was cool.
I never had a dog, so I'm kinda nervous.
I guess they didn't want to chance any ball-licking in this Puppy Bowl, unlike the scandal last year.Heh.
I am watching the SB. Don't know who to root for. Not much exciting has happened. No good commercials yet.

Sorry, but that FedEx commercial just now ruled. Ha. Not the best ever or anything, but definitely the best so far.

Yeah, mostly. I loved the concept, but the execution wasn't classic.

Yup, that one's the best so far. And I watched a bit of the Puppy Bowl during pregame. But I didn't want to alarm the boy, because he's having a traumatic day. He got into a fight with two other dogs today. He's all beat up, but apparently, so are the other two. Their owner's mom may be having them shot. Not nice dogs. But he's doing all right, he's sleeping at my feet right now while we watch football.
Also, does anyone want any calzones? I made twenty-four, but the band we were recording this weekend was going to be late (again) today for their two hour session, so we called it off. Which is fine. But I have extra food in my freezer now.
