Yes, there is. There's a hurry, Xander. I'm dying...I may have as few as fifty years left.

Ann, that's a ferret.

A little late, but since I wasn't around yesterday --

Happy Birthdays, Micole and Victor!

A local high school has a "graffiti shed" that's visible from the road. Every now and then, the shed is whitewashed, and the graffiti start again. A lot of very affecting comments showed up last summer when a student died of -- meningitis, I think it was.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That boa picture of Casper reminds me of one of the cutest Halloween costumes from the kids at my old job. This little toddler, dressed as a movie star -- big sunglasses, boa, shiny outfit -- being pushed in a stroller. Somehow the stroller just made the outfit. Like, she was so fancy, she didn't even need to walk herself!

That cake freaks me out. I would not be inclined to eat anything any animal had already gotten to, pet or no.

I slept ridiculously late this morning. Which makes me happy right now, but I will be less happy when I have to be at work at 10 tomorrow morning.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Things I need to do today:

  • Fold the laundry I did on Friday
  • Start another load of laundry, if the laundry room isn't busy
  • vacuum, vacuum, vacuum
  • dust, dust, dust
  • Dishes
  • File the pile of papers on my desk, so I have room to do my taxes

Things I've accomplished so far:

OK, am I the only one who thought that the "accomplished" item in Tom's post was whitefonted?

Time to go re-read my paper and be brave enough to mail it to the professor.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Go Nilly, go! Send that email!

Go Tom, go! Clean that house!

I should be doing homework, so as to catch up/get ahead in my school reading. This is so unlike me as to be nearly impossible, but I'm going to give it a shot. I think I might go sit in my sunny yellow bedroom, so as not to be distracted by the tv and computer. Maybe later.

And my grandmother told me it would be a sin not to watch the Pats in the Super Bowl tonight, so I guess I'll have to do that later.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Megan, you are a sculptor right? Cause I don't believe just anyone could make rats that realistic.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Things I need to do today:

It's not going well. I haven't even gotten the dog out yet. How did it get to be one o'clock?

Sent the e-mail.

I hate it when the work I do is not as well as it should be, and I know I could have done better. But not under the time constraints (definitely not with how sick I was last week). So there was no other choice, really. But still. Oh, I could make my head go like that all evening long. I'll have to go and do something else, instead, then, and convince the sieve to put itself into that.

[Edit: 4*3=2*6, and of course 6 is twice 3 and 4 is twice 2 and numbers are fun.]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I would not be inclined to eat anything any animal had already gotten to, pet or no.

You're one of those non-pet-kissers, aren't you?

Try and not violate the right of way rules.

No, I totally could, since only disregarding stop and go signals is a leading cause of traffic collisions.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

hey ita, do you mind if I call your dad? I'm in the middle of a sticky sitch and need a diplomat.
