I know! It's like they're trying to look all fierce, and the fuzziness makes look all cute, and it makes them soooo mad.
My sister's cat was fuzzy as a kitten and sleek as a grown-up, but I don't think it's all that common in house cats.

How late can UPS deliver something? (Tracking says my package is out for delivery. And no "delivery attempted" note has appeared.) Last time this happened, I looked it up on their website - I think they said they can deliver as late as 7:00 PM. Anyway, last time I used UPS, the package arrived at 4:30. Now it's 5:35. I wonder if I should give up and go home....

The krav black belt test is this Saturday. I'm honour, duty, and curiosity-bound to watch. Not the whole thing, since it's going to be at least 8 hours, but still. Everyone higher belted than me, pretty much will have tested for black belt once this is done. I won't get another chance to watch should (krav willing, health holding) I go the same way.

Kittens start out very fuzzy and often (but not always) get sleeker and sometimes coarser fur as they grow up. Devi still has an awful lot of cobwebby kittenish fur. It makes her squoogable. I think it may indeed be undercoat fur that gets covered with overcoat, but I'm talking out of my ass now.
Someone needs to invite ita to watch when a kitten first learns to hiss. They tend to go overboard for a few days once they figure out how to do it at will. They roar around hissing fiercly at anything and everything and sometimes startle themselves with it and then poof up all fierce and.... HISS MORE. ita, you'd be bowled over by the wee ferocity and CUTE.
