Congratulations to the class of 1999. You all proved more or less adequate.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Also, Victor et al....did anyone know that there's a Luchadores cartoon? Mucha Lucha! Tivo was watching it this morning.

Oh, hell yeah. It's been around for maybe 6 months -- it's not as good as I had hoped, but it has its moments. (Particularly the luchadore named Snow Pea -- he's the one in the middle, who looks like, well, a pea pod -- whose signature move is called "The Cuddly Hug of Friendship," and who can only say his own name, much like Pikachu.)

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Yay msbelle on the quasi-new suit wearing!

I'm feeling really uninspired, workwise, at the moment. Love the job yadda yadda, but still. There's a beach somewhere in the Caribbean right now that absolutely fails to have me on it, and that's just wrong.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Mucha Lucha! Tivo was watching it this morning.

They used to have a website where you could build your own luchadore. Don't know if that was a special promotion for when they first started showing the cartoon, or if it's still up.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

The only thing that really interests me right now is watching movies and reading books. This weekend I watched Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Siterhood, The Whole Wide World, and half of The Bathing Beauty (an old Esther Williams movie).

Then I finished PD James' Cover Her Face and started The Three Musketeers.

As always, I will blame it on the rain.

What is even happening?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

My father is a scotch drinker. My first exposure to it as far as drinking it was an extremely strong reminder of my dad, to the point where I really can't enjoy it. Not that I don't love my dad, but the association was too strong.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, I'm watching Ellen, like I do, and Ice Cube's kid's nickname is OMG! Har.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Right now he is one stoned kitty with his front legs hugging his scratching post. His face is totally saying, "I LOOVE YOU MAAANNN!"

Hee! I wish my cat would get mellow with catnip. Instead, she turns into crack!kitty after she rolls in it, covering herself completely in catnip and starts tearing around the apartment with her eyes fully dilated in excitement.

Oh, and Stiffy is good to use with cheesecloth at Halloween to make centerpiece ghosts.

Congrats to msbelle for the new/old suit!
