Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wossname on Happy Days? They had bands and whatnot, didn't they? Or am I just distracted by that one video?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

19? Dammit. I was aiming to peak at 28 (I read something somewhere...). I totally scheduled wrong. After 28, I was going to aim for "wicked cool adult"

19 is totally way too young for peak hotness.

Are you ready to be strong?

Just Al's I think, maybe. Anyway, all the kids hung out there, but it was more malt-shop style -- like the regular Peach Pit, not After Dark.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Wasn't the Peach Pit the pizza place on Beverly Hills 90210

Yeah, there were a few episodes where bands would play there, usually to try to raise money for something, but it wasn't a regular thing.

But bands didn't play in the PP during the day ever, did they?

Yes.

Was 90210 the first time there was a teen soap like that? I'd think it was, but what do I know? If there was one before, I wouldn't have been old enough to watch.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yup. And the Peach Pit After Dark was a nightclub, like the Bronze. I was wondering if they were innovators. My memory of Happy Days is kinda fuzzy, but my impression of the place was more like a Peach Pit with the odd band, than a nightclub.
