Plei, if you want to reunite erstwhile siblings Maceo and Shiva, I'll send you Maceo. Cause another cat + a new baby sounds so sane and manageable.
I am much more of a dog person. This weekend I was trying to determine which animal went with which person. Maceo is much more Lori's than mine. He sleeps with her, stands on her and comes to put his front paws on her.
Bear is slightly more mine. She follows me from room to room and spends a lot of time lying on the floor near my desk (which could be a function of her food bowl which is a few feet away). She also sleeps with me and can count on me to spoil her by making room for her on the bed.
Kuma? Belongs to niether of us.
Their hunting drive is very intense and may overwhelm any training when prey is detected. They use their acute sense of hearing in addition to sight and scent to locate prey. Although gentle and affectionate with people they know, they can be aloof with strangers. NGSD's can be aggressive toward other dogs, especially of the same sex.
This made me laugh as it applies to Jindos also (and Shibas and Akitas). I was reading somewhere that agility trials, Shibas (and I'd guess jindos too) excel. but in obedience? They suck. This is the case with our dog.
Got back from Spanish. Today was a uniquely LA class in that we were learning food and it was like stump the profesor... almond milk, vegan non-butter. So many things they don't eat.
