"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Someone needs to replace that groundhog.

They did several years ago. The previous Punxsatawney Phil was found dead in his burrow on Feb. 2, 2001. It was not a good sign for the coming year.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Got back from looking at the apartment. The main room of the apartment was nice, and it was a pretty good location, but the kitchen was just way too tiny -- there wasn't even room for a full-size refridgerator, just a mini-fridge. Guess I'll keep looking.

Our wings are not tired.

That's a shame Hil. Tiny kitchen = eating out too much. Good luck with the continued search.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I think I would find the whole Mcihael Jackson thing much less obnoxious if it weren't so obvious a personal psychodrama writ public. Like, some shmuck who murders his wife, maybe his second cousin has a press conference once a week trying to horn in on the fame, but mostly it's established in situations like that that the people in the public eye would be just as happy out of it.

This situation, NSM. All those newsies feel like enablers.

Yeah. I could maybe deal with the small stove in an otherwise nice apartment, but I need some counter space and something more than a mini-fridge.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

ita! move closer. I say WeHo!

WeHo isn't close to anything. I'd also need a new job.

I don't wanna move! I like my apartment -- give me decent cable reception (okay, and a bigger kitchen), and I'm golden.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I really should be getting dressed and going to work, but somehow, NSM.

eta: ita, you could move closer to me! I have crepes, and tequila bars, and good stuff.

Dude, you're almost as bad as WeHo. Better parking, but how do you exist so far from freeways?

If Los Feliz were convenient to work (both works), I'd ... no, it's not convenient to the beach either.

I could get more spoiled, but I don't want to push things. Off to latimes rentals.

(please let my slumlord¹building office decide to upgrade their wiring)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

In the Martin Bashir documentary, doesn't the oldest boy seem to have dark roots and dyed blond hair? I thought the interviewer commented on that.

I wondered if that wasn't for the documentary. Lord knows if I were famous I'd try not to have my children's images all over the place.

Stay home a lot.
