Now tagless for your comfort.

Ohhhh, let me know how that works out.

Will do. We are stoked about the class.

Why I hate winter, part xxxxxwhoknows:

I'm sitting here, thinking I should turn up the heat. Except I'm wearing sweats with a long sleeved tshirt, 2 pairs of socks (one wool) and insulated moccasins with a damp washcloth pressed to my nose to undry my sinuses and the humidifier going.

I prefer sitting is shorts and a cami with a bag of frozen peas on my head.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'd still rather be cozy in 10 layers of clothes than sweating my ass off stark naked.

Not me. I'm one of those people cold causes deep painful aches. Heat just makes me sweat. I get can get cranky either way, but heat doesn't hurt me. Not really a surprise, I was born and raised in the desert southwest. I think my internal thermo is set to deal best with heat.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I've been hearing radio ads for something called an "air washer," available "at all Bed, Bath & Beyond stores near you!" It sounds like it's a combo air purifier and humidifier. Something like that would be neat to get, since you can use it year 'round for at least one of its functions. Considering I'm getting static shocks from touching my kitty, I definitely do need a humidifier in the apartment right now.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

One thing that's good about this house... it isn't too dry. On the other hand... mold. You can't win.

Ew, mold, yuck. I get grossed out enough when I happen to look behind the shower curtain I have blocking the window beside the tub--the curtain does its best to keep the water away from the windowsill, but sometimes the curtain pulls away and water gets through, and the edges are starting to look rather disgusting.

Bleach. Bleach is our friend (I think my a/c was growing things. I'm hoping the extreme dryness, though it is killing me, kills the spores)

I have a cat clinging desperately to me. He really wants a lap. A balance ball doesn't cooperate.

Wheee! I just found out a piece I wrote about running in the Oakland hills got accepted into a local anthology sponsored by the city arts council. *bounce*
