This is my boat. They're part of my crew. No one's getting left. Best you get used to that.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Bassets were badger hounds, weren't they? Low-slung and built for digging? Or do I have that wrong?

lori, I haven't had a dog since I was a kid, but I love them to bits, and I always hung out in the TT dogs thread, so I remember you from there, too, as well as Buffy and elsewhere.

sara, thanks for having my back--and TC's. Sadly, the cats thread at TT these days has lost a lot of the funny people--Theo and sara, and even Deb.

Ack, okay time to find some dinner.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I love all the animal pictures! It's nice to have the mental image for when people talk about their pets.

Jeeves has always been much more cute than handsome. I think he knows how to turn up the cute when he wants something.

Bev, I miss the ttcats too. Now I have to torture everyone here with my cattales.

edit: Jeeves IS cute. I can see him doing handsome, though.

Even if one farted every time he picked her up.

Kat's bro had a NINETY pound basset. Named Turbo. I'll bet she farted a lot.

I think Maceo is handsome, but Kat thinks he's just irritating. But he keeps himself at a healthy weight because he has to climb the 6ft wooden fence if he wants to go out of the yard to play. And because his food is up in a cubby hole in a 5ft cat tree so the poopers won't eat it.

I still have some Gus Pong stories stashed around here somewhere.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Was Gus Pong one of the Dogs in Elk?

Now tagless for your comfort.

I think ima teach him sign language over the phone. THAT IS HOW ADVANCED HE IS.

Owen and I are starting sign language class next week.

My friend's minature American Eskimo won't go outside without her Muttluks on in the winter. She rolls over on her back and sticks her feet up in the air so J can put them on. Hi-larious.

Kat's much more a dog person, isn't she? (that said without judgement. I know I'm much more a cat person. I like dogs just fine, but have much less patience with them.)

Heh. I'm remembering her amusedly rolling her eyes and dragging you away from Mister Kitty. heh.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Owen and I are starting sign language class next week.

Ohhhh, let me know how that works out.
