Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Lee, stop freaking out.

(Why are you freaking out?)

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Post-its on the cat's tail are not worth freaking out over.

Stop it.

Yes, please refrain from freaking out anymore. Nobody wins.

I just noticed (new) snow on the ground, too, sara. Funny thing about snow... you don't hear it falling, and then you look out a window, and there it is. Sneaky.

I am listening to the commentary of S2 ep3 of MI-5. Slightly more interesting than the commentary on eps 1 and 2.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hee. Thanks

(Not trying to be coy-it's all in LJ)

Huh. We've got new snow, too.

I tried to clean my apartment some more today. I'm really not so good with this whole organization thing. But my kitchen is clean! And there are no more stacks of books and papers and clothes on my couch. Still stacks of stuff on the floor and table, though, and I'm getting the feeling that my bookshelves won't actually be able to hold all my books, once I get them put away.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Hil, my sistah in organization! I moved a bookshelf today. Then I moved a speaker into the spot where the bookshelf was and now I can play my stereo in stereo! Yay! Now to clear out the pile of stuff that was hidden between the bookshelf and the stairwell, bleargh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I know I shouldn't be listening to the WB talk about losing virginity, but is that "the first time should be a special time" thing really implanted in the consciousness of kids? I can see 2/3 of under-eighteens regretting having done it so soon (although it's sad), but regretting it not being magic is a little psycho.

I mean, my first time was a hell of a lot of fun, but if I'd held out for magic -- well, let's not speak of it.

ita, want to go find a late night coffee shop and have pie?

I'm already torn down for the night, Lee, but it is something we should do later. There are all night diners that could use our financial support.

Sounds like a good plan, ita.

Of course, if we had gone tonight, I might kept on the pimp hat.

(there's just a chance I've had too much coffee.)
