I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

The white cats are so beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen a pure white cat in person. And the picture of Bear staring out the window is just amazing.

Have to go pick up food now.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I have no idea who this CalGal is, but if she's spreading lies about Hec I'm willing to take a stand and say she's not good.

Plus assorted winged monkeys.

And now I'm earwormed with alternately the Wicked Witch flying music and the gaurds' "Oh-wee-oh" marching song.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

During the early '80s, yes. A block or so up Carrollton from St. Charles, in a shopping center across the street from a Burger King.

Oh, I think I know where you mean. That's a CVS or Walgreens or something now.

Damnit, that Rite-Aid should be a K&B.

What's a K&B?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Apparently, to a 5 month old, there is something inherently hysterically funny about kittens.
This stage has lasted a lot longer than five months for me apparently. Though it has segued into oooohing also.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Oh, Beverly. That is a comfy cat.

My best friend when I was really little had a pure white cat. They named her Snow, until they became familiar with her predilection for hanging out in the oil puddle under the car, and then they named her Slush.

Congrats to Burrell and DH on homeownership.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Congrats on the house, Burrell!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Last night, my kitty decided she was fed up with me cleaning out my kitchen drawers (an extensive job, so I had pulled up a chair to go through them all and be comfortable) and not paying attention to her, so she decided to jump up and say "Hi!" Unfortunately, she has an aversion to jumping onto the sink and the cabinets surrounding it for some reason, so she went for my back instead. I have scratches from her claws digging into my upper arm and back when she didn't quite make it up to my shoulder and started slipping off.

Ann, that's a ferret.

What's a K&B?

Once upon a time, THE NOLA drugstore chain (including one store at Broadway and Freret). Well known for the color of their shopping bags, commonly called "K&B purple."

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

What's a K&B?

K&B was the local chain of drugstores that Rite-Aid bought out. If you ever saw purple accessories in a Rite-Aid, those were leftover from K&B.
