Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Is it possible to understand the series without having seen the miniseries?

Pretty much. But there are some storylines that are set up in the miniseries that continue in the series.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, have fun, Consuela!

When I get my rent bill, it says they have to get it by the 5th, but my lease says I don't actually get charged a fine until the 10th. Which is nice.

Why is the Pizza Hut dipping sauce (the concept makes my stomache roil) for garlic mustard yellow? That's not right.

I miss being a human garbage disposal with a decent metabolism. Mainly I miss not being utterly revulsed by food commercials. I can accept gagging over CSI. Pizza commercials? NSM.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I ended up being reasonably confused and asking lots of questions because I'd only watched the miniseries with one eye.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Pretty much.

Yup. Basically, the mini is all "oh, the Cylons attacked, ack!" Death, destruction, run away. And it tells you who these people are, but you can pick that up from the series.

And the series is better paced, and Jamie Bamber has more interesting things to do in it. I'm liking it so far.

I watched the miniseries with one eye, decided I liked it and bought the DVD.

I dunno, as bad as that is, the idea of dipping pizza in ranch dressing strikes me as more vile. YDisgustMV.

I'll always regret not getting a Tivo when Angel was airing just for the fun of making that my one season pass and seeing what it would recommend. I see even odds of getting Walker, Texas Ranger reruns or Queer as Folk.

Also? I'm babysitting a 10ish month old tomorrow. I should go to bed. I know she'll manage to skip any naps and totally wipe me out. In a good way, but still.

Prepare for googlygushyomigawdsocute comments afterwards. Plus, they have matching kittens the baby loooooves. I'm expecting to be a mush of mush.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I've recently decided that almost anything is good dipped in ranch dip. The only thing I've tried that was bad was barbecue flavor soy chips, and, honestly.
