Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

My parents have a thing about the name "Sam". For a few years, all of their friends' new babies, male or female, were referred to as Sam, regardless of their real names.

Eventually they got a new (female) dog and named her Sam, which solved the problem.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

OMG someone make this day end. I'm so bored I can't even surf the internet. I'm so bored I'm reading trade publications. I might have to set something on fire soon. Please, let this misery end.

I get called Sam.

Apparently, there is some confusion in certain work departments as to what my name is. They have decided it is Samantha, and call me Sam. Usually in drive by situations, so I never have the opportunity to correct them. I haven't been called Amy in years, though. So maybe it's a fair trade.

It needs to be 5:30.

Hahaha. x-post. hey, I do have a lighter here...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Both my bosses are gone. Don't tell anyone, but I think I'll sneak out early....

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I don't have any room to be more offended by Dick Cheney.

Every time I think I've hit full capacity, he does something like this and it's like a little window opens in my heart. Granted, a window of loathing and revulsion, but still, in my experience there's always room to be more offended by Dick Cheney.
