And you're sure this isn't just some fanboy thing? 'Cause I've fought more than a couple pimply, overweight vamps that called themselves Lestat.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Taxes (state and federal): DONE. Am getting big refund! For, I think, the first time ever. It's the one good thing about only working full time half the year -- my withholding was based on the full annual amount, which I didn't earn.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Now I really want Chinese.

Sometimes the only thing you need to make the day tolerable is to devour a good eggroll. I'm just saying.

Self-defense with a Walking-stick

But how do you defend yourself against a man armed with a banana?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

But how do you defend yourself against a man armed with a banana?

Sadly, it took them another 70 years to figure that out....

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hi bicyclops! It's been a long time, and now we get you and cab in the same day. Cool.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

It's not TDS; he's appearing in Hartford for "An Evening with Jon Stewart" tonight. I have bad seats, I mean, REALLY bad seats. I don't care. He sold out the entire Bushnell (decent sized theatre) for two shows. It should be incredible.

Oh, wicked cool. I've got an HBO special he did several years ago and he was a RIOT! He's probably more topical now then he was then, but I remember some of his best stuff was serious Jewish humor (which he still often goes to on TDS).

Jesse, what is the name of the man interviewed on The Daily Show who inspired your tag? I want to get his book, but I can't remember his name.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hi bicyclops! Hi cab! Good to see your phosphors!

I have to go pick up my penne al'arrabiatta for lunch. Yum! I'm hoping this cures the lowlevel headache I've had all day....

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

For those of you who don't frequent the Music thread, The Times of London enthusiastically reviewed Lost In The Grooves today.

The writer, Bob Stanley, is also in the band St. Etienne.
