Minearverse makes more sense to me than anywhere else, but I would really like to keep a Firefly thread.

I like to think I'm not craxy, but I did just sign up to participate in a re-watch on LJ and my Addicted to Firefly scores on Facebook are mindboggling to me.
There should probably be a cancelled topic, as the decision was made to close Veronica Mars a few months ago too. Although arguably then the Buffy and Angel topics should be closed also.

I dunno about Firefly. I think it's fine in Minearverse from here on out.

Right, cause that is what the board was founded around. But we did merge the Buffy and Angel threads. So I see no problem in merging the Minearverse and Firefly threads.

Eh, I would also like to keep a Firefly thread.
Maybe I'm the odd-one-out but I didn't really meet anybody through FF. My older brother got my younger brother into it. My younger brother got me into it (What do you mean I have to sit through an hour long pilot? This had better not suck.) I got my friends into it and it was a trickle down effect.
I'm going to widen this discussion and move it to Bureaucracy. So that we don't kill the thread by talking about if it will be really and truly and sincerely dead, and so that other people can weigh in.

I would prefer a dedicated Firefly thread. There was something special to the show and it's always nice to have a place to discuss our latest conversions.
For instance, nearly everyone at our helpdesk has now seen Firefly. It's passing from tech to tech like a virus. Eighteen months ago only two of us had seen it.
Plus? it's beloved enough to have quotes in our header, why not let us post in spurts?
I don't think Minearverse is the proper place. If we must kill the thread, I would suggest including it in Boxed Set, as Minearverse is mostly for his live projects.
