And Kaylee, what the hell's goin' on in the engine room? Were there monkeys? Some terrifying space monkeys maybe got loose?

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

It looks like Fox are having some kind of licensing/copyright sweep online for Firefly. I don't think it's very wide scale.

move out and draw fire

Hopefully they won't hit this site before I get to buy stuff [link] (or hopefully the stuff is licensed)

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

They claim their stuff is licensed.

I have the Buddha tee, and I really want the Fruity Oaty Bars tee. Also tempted by the Companion Academy tee.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That reminds me, there's a Blue Sun Cafe in Pullman, Washington. I don't know that there's any connection, but I think I need to go eat there next time I'm in the area, just in case.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

Wow, I never noticed that. Pullman now seems less crappy to me. (Disclaimer: I do love the Palouse, but Moscow FTW!)

I don't think it was a hallucination, but I did see it from the bus in the wee hours of the morning after not enough sleep and/or coffee. On the way back from Moscow, in fact.

Thrive to spite them

I think I just converted someone to Firefly! One of our repair guys is Doctor Who fan and I mentioned Firefly and he hadn't heard of it before so I described "Western in Space" and he got excited -- those are my two favorite things!

And he asked a bunch of questions and said he was going to Netflix it.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

space western and getting excited? ;-)

(I'm guessing it was he that said two fav's, but I couldn't resist)

Yay for converting (speaking as one who was converted). Do we get toaster ovens for converting folk?

Compassionately intolerant

I've got so many toasters, I'm trading them in on an overthruster!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Anyone have ideas on where to find a pattern for a coat that I could maybe alter a bit to look like Mal's?

Joe's dad is throwing a Serenity party at Confusion this year and naturally, Joe wants to pay homage to Cap'n Tightpants.

I kind of want to make Kaylee's frilly dress for myself.
