Mal: You want to tell me how come there's a statue of you here looking at me like I owe him something? Jayne: Wishing I could, Captain.

Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's very sweet.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Now that I think about it, I bought him Serenity last year.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

That's very cool, P-C.

So, apparently Nathan is voicing one of the marines in Halo 3. (I know he's talked about being a fan of the game in different interviews in the past.) You can hear him talking in this gameplay clip. (If you can hear him over the guy playing the game and talking about it.) [link]

So that brings the Jossverse actor total for the Halo games to two (Julie Benz voiced Miranda Keyes in Halo 2). Not exactly a huge number, but still nifty.

ETA: Someone on the Bungie's forum is hinting NF won't be the only Firefly cast member in the game.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

One word: Tudyk. Or two words if you're rude.

Is "Alan" a naughty word?

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Only if you know what it stands for.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Every time I see this at the top of the b.org page it makes my allergies act up...

Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross... 'Shindig'

I'm sure that thought never would have entered Wash's mind that his warrior woman might outlive him.
