Oh, God. Oh, God. My hair. My hair! The government gave me bad hair!

Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains

Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

Who? moi??

movie had no sound for me. I hate Service Pack 2, it destroyed bits of all sorts of programs.

"...just for you. Actually, I hope not just for you."

"Being hungover is like winning the lottery, except they pay you in regret!" - T-Rex

I've found Service Pack 2 can be really finicky about how it's installed sometimes. If there's any spyware or anything of that nature on there, or any firewall other than the built-in XP one turned on while it installs, it can cause problems after the install.

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

SP 2 is just the cap on the evil outfit than is XP. I hate all flavors of Windoze in general (being a Mac person), but the only one even worth using is 2K. IMHO. (I have to use it at work.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

New Zap2It article:

Baldwin has seen a cut of "Serenity," and reveals, "Mmmm, it's hot. It's tasty. It's opened up. You will see more worlds. I can't recall if we have any horses, but everybody looks great. We had this lead-time, so everybody's like, 'Go to the gym!'

[whited out text is really NSM with the spoileriness]

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh! Because they needed to be prettier. They were not pretty enough. Thank goodness they made it to the gym.
