I think Simon & Co. deserve cheers for taking the brunt of interest
Traffic rank for Whedonesque according to Alexa. Today 9,137. Crap. That's made this story more popular than last year's release of Serenity. Holy crap. Who'd thought a cancelled con would had so much interest?
It's not a canceled con really, Simon, that attracted the interest. It's what happened after it was canceled. As somebody said on Whedonesque, if a random Star Trek convention got canceled, does anybody think the actors would have turned up to it?
I think anybody in fandom can say 'oh wow, that's cool' to this weekend. Even Fandom_Wank were kind.
By the way, I am very amused and heartened that Christina reads Whedonesque.
I heart this fandom so very, very much. What a class act! Seconding the wish for a writeup of everything, for posterity's sake.
Also?
Flan B.
Best. Name. Ever.
Jars is married?~@!
Oh, well, yes. Recently, and not-a-big-thing-ishly. I'll tell you ALL about it next time I see you on msn.
I think Tim signed 300 autographs.
Well done Timmy. Any idea what he did his panel on?
He showed a fanvid he made of his own work of all his shows, then the first 8 minutes of Drive, and then showed Ariel with the sound off and did live commentary.
Per usual, he was his sexy and charming self.
Also, I totally want to see that fanvid.
