Well the post does in theory belong to the poster who blogged it. If he/she is willing to have it made available then I'll see.
This has been an utter fiasco created by people who fell for their own press and hype, made some woeful and dubious decisions in terms of hosting cons for other shows and who bottled it when it came to cancelling Flan 2.

The problem - well, one of - with the Whedonesque post was it wasn't directly written by the company owners. It was relayed via phone from somebody claiming to be a company owner (except legally he wasn't) to somebody who relayed it in the hotel lobby which then got relayed on Whedonesque. And, the person from Booster who had called (Dave) isn't even an owner of the company, so has absolutely 0 financial or legal responsibility with the company. I tried pointing this out at the time. Fact is, yesterday, there was zero responsibility or visibility from anybody associated with Booster Entertainment.
By the way, the Browncoat Backup Bash plans are fluid. The event might have to move outside of the hotel to west hollywood for various reasons.

Guys, does anybody know how far Hollywood Blvd is from the Hilton that Flanvention is at?
google is telling me it's about 7 miles. someone in SoCal might be able to give a definite answer.
7 miles is about right.
However, timewise, it can take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour to get there.
Not to excuse any of what BE did, which was horrible, but it is starting to look like attendees might get a really great Browncoat experience, perhaps even extraordinary. I hope so, and really appreciate the efforts made by folks like AB, Allyson, and a certain writer.
Right. Cheers folks. We might need to try and ship the people from Hilton tomorrow evening to there. Allyson, do you have any contact details for James? I've tried his and Lynn's cell and it's ringing out. Or Adam.
It's not a panic stations thing if I can't get them, but James needs to check his email regarding tomorrow as some stuff has changed.
