According to the "many-worlds" theory, everything that could possibly happen, does happen in some version of the 'verse. There's also a theory that all moments exist independently as universes themselves, and the passage of time is really the movement of our consciousnesses from one moment-universe to the next.
Given all this to be true, I'd like to move my consciousness in a universe-with-more-Firefly direction. Let's all concentrate real hard, now.
I like Zenkitty's type of zen.
Also, for Seattleistas, there is going to be a mini-marathon at the Kirkland Performance Center. They will be showing The Train Job, The Message, Objects in Space, and Serenity the movie. It all takes place on Saturday, July 22nd at 5pm.
You can get your $12.00 tickets at [link]

I think Zenkitty wins at life today. Although I'd like to live in a universe with Firefly still on the air and no Fear Factor. And Bitter shalt be ma middle name.

Wrod. Also, Tamara, thanks for letting us know about Odile. I never met her personally, but from her posts and what I've heard from others, she sounds like she was a neat lady. Peace to all of her friends and family.
When my fandom and my real life intersect: a co-worker who knows I'm looking for daycare just recommended "Jayne's Playgroup."
The mind boggles.
Ah hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!
I was going to come up with humorous statement's about "Jayne's Playgroup," but lo, there are too many.
Add in Raq's baby's name, and it's just too perfect.
Just don't let him drink the milk.

I know I don't want to know how a "time out" works there, that's for sure.
Yeah, my response was "Howdy kids. I'd like to introduce y'all to Vera." This confused the hell out of my co-worker.
