Jayne: Anybody remember her comin' at me with a butcher's knife? Wash: Wacky fun.

Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains

Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

As I recall, Jubal Early was a distant ancestor of Nathan, and he talked Joss into using the name. It's a great name. I love obscure Biblical names.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I don't think it's mentioned here but I'm sure most know, Serenity's script supervisor has been selling early drafts of Serenity (the movie) on ebay. I'm still sniggering that The Operatives name was Jude.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Odile (who posted here occasionally back in the day) passed away this week after a long bout with cancer. She will be missed by many Browncoats.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm so sorry to hear that. Sitting with her and gossiping was one of my favorite memories of the Serenity premiere thing. She was lovely, funny, and had a gorgeous smile.

She did. She was always smiling. I miss her more than I can say or even think.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

So sorry to hear that, Tamara.
