Signed,
No. Really. Have you met us?
Heh. Figured.
Now of course I've sucked down the archived Firefly threads and taken them home to read at my leisure...it's a bit frustrating to be reading conversations 2.5 years old, because I keep wanting to post responses or comments. I'm not sure why I'm doing this, other than my basic obsessive tendencies, but I think it's the same reason I came to Buffistas in the first place, and don't like to watch movies alone - I want enjoyment of anything to be shared and social.
Still weird to be living a time-encapsulated slice of the board though.

If it gets too bad, there's always the mega-meara procedure.
2 seasons of Twin Peaks + Fire Walk with me in a week. While working full time.
I scarfed down Season 1 of
Queer as Folk
(US) in a week: 15 episodes over the weekend, and then squeezed in the other seven during the week, after work. Very fun--I like the almost-delirium that sets in after a little while, where all you can think about is "what happens next???"

This. I also tend to replay in my head certain scenes I'd watched the previous night. Laughing out loud at "nothing" when others are around tends to generate weird looks from cow-orkers.
"what happens next???"
There is only one phrase to describe me in this context...poor impulse control.
I did that with QaF too. It was fun!
We also watched all of "Band of Brothers" over three days. I think that worked better than the original weekly schedule, as the huge cast and their stories never got confusing.
The Office in one sitting. Funnest battlefield appendectomy I ever had.

Heh. I'm watching that now! Not all in one sitting but in big gulps. I'll probably be finished the set by the end of the weekend. Very quickly for me.
It's making my (office) job both funnier and more depressing.
I ADORE The Office beyond reason. I hope you have both series and the final specials. You really need to see the whole thing.
