Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

- You know who DaniKin, Kiba Rika, Allyson, and Kristen are and appreciate how hard they worked at a desperate time for the nascent fandom.

Keep breathing!

Hello Buffistas -

Don't know if someone already noted this, but the BlogFather (Glenn Reynolds) has a podcast interview with Tim Minear here.

Cross-posting to Minearverse.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Toasters continue to be earned. I showed the girl the first Firefly DVD this weekend and she's anxious to see the rest when we get together this coming weekend.

Thanks. I've made some mutterings in Natter about it, but that's it.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I remembered your earlier rumblings, but then you posted a weekend update and didn't mention the girl, so I was afraid to ask. But, yay! She's still the girl, plus now Firefly-enabled!

I didn't? Huh. Guess I was distracted by talking about the swordfighting and forgot to mention the girl went along with me and was similarly entertained. But yes, time was spent with girl over weekend and it was good.

Compassionately intolerant

Yay Kalshane. Good on you AND the girl.

So much time has been spent with my new Fella (the L word has even come up...I'm so happy!) that I haven't been around to post about the Serenity RPG.

This weekend, we had our first real game. It was a riot. I've never RPGed before and didn't know what to expect. How fun is this!!

Fella is my captain...I'm a shepherd with a gambling problem. We both have super high overconfidence ratings. I defied an order...it was choice.

In the end, I saved the day by stampeding a flock of sheep into the town center of a community like the one in Safe. It was hilarious. And took the GM totally by surprise. Hee!

So, except for a very weird kerfuffle...in meatspace, first time for that in my 'verse...and some problems with hosting a pack-o-geekizoids in my house...I'm a converted Serenity RPGer.

Not sure I could do it in another game environment, but I'm so comfortable with the Firefly world, it was easy!

Thanks.

Glad you and your fella are doing well, and had fun with the Serenity RPG.

I'm tempted to buy it, but I'm afraid it will be yet another game that I would love to play but would have no idea how to run and would thus end up collecting dust on my shelf once I finished reading it.
