Yesterday, I took my first venture into RPGing with a group of people mostly unknown to me. The only reason I'd consider the exercise is that the game is based in the Serenity 'verse.
I've decided to be a Shepherd with a gambling problem. I have a feeling I'm going to be thinking way, way too much about this in the next little while.

Sounds like you will be. A Shepherd with a gambling problem sounds fun. A few years back I played a bard named Geoff, whose gambling problems ultimately led to his and half the party's demise. Have fun with your character.
