"The best-case scenario is that the DVD is such a spectacular, monster hit that we get to make another movie," Whedon said. "Then we get to make another movie. After three movies, we're all very tired. After Serenity: Revolutions, we feel like we've played it out. And then we make another series."
Also, some stuff on "no more Firefly," which I think is old news.
So are the DVD sales in the monster-hit zone of DVD sales? I know they're healthy but are they good enough to lure some nutty Central European or possibly Bahrain princes to invest in a new movie?

SciFi is having a Firefly marathon this Friday, before the return of SciFi Friday.
Have to confess to not having seen Wedding Crashers. I bet it is fun.

9. Nathan Fillion, "Serenity." Like Harrison Ford did three decades ago, Fillion plays a bemused, roll-with-the-punches spaceship captain. There aren't awards for such performances, but they help remind us that sci-fi and action movies can actually be good.
I'd be more excited if the list didn't also include the penguins in Madagascar.
But hey, to come full circle, it cites Vince Vaughn in the Wedding Crashers at #5.

Harrumph. Vince did good, but he didn't steal Mr & Mrs Smith from Brad, nor Wedding Crashers from Owen.
I was watching the outtakes last night and Fillion looked really good in them. Like the color timing of the movie made him look worse or something. Or I'm crazy. But I found him way cuter in them than I did while watching the movie at the theater and at home.
