Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains

Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Serenity of Hazzard

It's the Serenity crew,
Doing what they can do,
Out on the frontier, they'll be smuggling steer or maybe galactic porn.

Pulling a heist,
Stealing some pills.
Someday the 'verse might get 'em, but the law never will.

Makin' their way,
The only way they know how,
That's just a little bit more than the 'verse will allow.

It's the Serenity crew,
They're theives, but they're good,
Fightin' the Alliance like true futuristic Robin Hoods..

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

<imagines Roscoe getting kicked into Serenity's engine>

"It's got to be the hair, Cotton. It's beautiful! Feathered and lethal. You just don't see it nowadays." Pepper Brooks - Dodgeball

I just want to say....thank you. Thank you for getting a song stuck in my head that I haven't heard since I was in high school. And that was a long, long time ago.

I s'pose it's better than the Green Day song (which I haven't even heard on the radio in weeks) that's been spinning through my head like a hamster on it's wheel for the past two weeks.

"When I look at people that I would like to feel have been a mentor or an inspiring kind of archetype of what I'd love to see my career eventually be mentioned as a footnote for in the same paragraph, it would be, like, Bowie." ~Trent Reznor

Joss posted over at whedonesque
"Stalin: Killed maybe twenty million people, but the last four million he was just phoning it in." Oh, that Joss.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Reequeen:

I bought some orange yarn this morning (well, now it's yesterday morning), and I plan on using double-pointeds.

Sounds fun. Of course, my double-pointeds are all much too small. It's good incentive to find some bigger ones though.

Why does that sound so horrible out of context?

I want Pirate Ninjas though.

Ninja's of the Caribbean, anyone?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Row! You incomprehensible, horizontal-eyed, western trouser-wearers! You all look the same to me! How I despise your lack of subtlety and your joined-up writing!
You, who have never committed ritual suicide in your lives!

Matt, you need to write more of that!
