Kaylee: So how many fell madly in love with you and wanted to take you away from all this? Inara: Just the one. I think I'm slipping.

Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains

Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

It's denial until there are mingled bodily fluids.

I just figure they're offscreen. Probably trying to hide the relationship from everyone else, though Teyla knows. Probably everyone but McKay knows.

If I only had a brain...

I was just at a meeting laughing my ass off at number-theory jokes.

Then it hit me. I now work on Stargate:Atlantis. (But without the hot slashy love, to which in real life I am generally oblivious.)

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I'm glad I stopped watching Andromeda before they gutted it.

Good grief, I want Firefly back on tv. So bad.

Yet again, Zenkitty is me. I'm not even sure when or how Tyr went away, and I'm ok with that.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

As much fun as slashy goodness would be, I think there'd be just as much to mine from not actually having characters involved but everyone around them knowingly reacting as if they are.

TEYLA: Rodney, I just want to reassure you that I am quite certain Ronon and Colonel Sheppard merely respect each other as warriors and comrades. You have no cause for worry.
McKAY: Why would I be worried? And why do people keep coming up to me to say that?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I've never seen the slashy between Ronon and Sheppard, but I would be willing to pretend I did, just to watch that scene, Matt.

When we kill people it makes the policemen flustered and stern.

And here I was trying to imagine a sissy version of Tyr and Sheppard Book with the mingled body fluids.

Andromeda was good for about the first 3/4 of a season, then I quit watching it.

Oh, that's awesome. I can so see that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There were some good Andromeda moments in S2 -- one of those eps still holds the "Best Clip Show" title for me, and it'll take some dislodging.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I now work on Stargate:Atlantis.

Dude, do you have a Zelenka? I want a Zelenka. Okay, I sort of have one, but he's not a great version. I want the real thing.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm having a memory for which I have no cite: The Serenity cast talking about not resuming the series, because it didn't feel right after making a movie.

Can anyone back me up on that? Or am I hallucinating?
