And you're sure this isn't just some fanboy thing? 'Cause I've fought more than a couple pimply, overweight vamps that called themselves Lestat.

Oh, and lisah, I actually have one of Anne's Cunning Jayne Hats, tm, that I cannot wear because it has mohair wool in it.

Wow! Really? Okay then.

Insent!

I need it for Halloween. I'm going as "What Con Am I At Today?" There will be Kiss face paint, Jayne hat, some other things TBD.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Yoou should wear a Next Gen jumpsuit with that outfit.

Also a bag of polyhedral dice on your hip, and a bag full of comics.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Or a bumpy forhead prosthetic.

I'm thinking Spock ears. And also a furry suit...or maybe just a bunny tail. A light saber...

It's all kind of in the works now. I need to go to the halloween store and see what I can get for cheap. And also go through my stuff and see what I already have.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

A friend of mine once dressed up in a little girl's dress with pigtails and teddy bear, and then had Kingon prosthetics and makeup applied so she could do her filk in costume at a con.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

lisah, that might be the best costume idea I've ever heard.

Thanks! My friend & I were going to go as the twins our friend is expecting but then figured out we were veering into "Adult Baby" territory and that just freaked us out too much.

I wonder if I could easily and cheaply get a Sailor Moon skirt and top together? That would be funny with the rest. And easy to wear. And not as creepy as the Furry idea.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Serenity DVD in December?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I was pretty numb after the opening night viewing though, and I feel like I ought to apologize to Lee, Nicole and Sail for not squeeing and bouncing afterward. They were all really nice and didn't slap me, even if I may have needed it, for which I am grateful.

Pfft.

I just felt bad that you were feeling numbed.

(Cuz, you know, I was the hostess, and everything therefor revolved around me)

(of course, that happens when I'm not the hostess too)

(I should probably just shut up now, right?)
