somehow, watching it on TV makes it seem like it's still a current show
Yeah, every time TiVo picks up a favorite episode that I have in uncommercial widescreen high-quality pristine form just two feet away, I'm all kinds of excited to catch it on the actual TV. Go figure.
That's how I feel when I run across
Wonderfalls
on [memfault]. Then I remember. Then I seethe. I haven't run across Firefly when clicking, yet.
It was fun to watch "Trash" on tv - rather than on dvd. It's sad, I know -- but still fun.

Logo. I watched "Cocktail Bunny" last night.
Logo. I kept wanting to call it "Treo" but I think that (or Trio) was the old brilliant-but-canceled station I never got. Logo is the new, improved, all naked, all gay brilliant-but-canceled station.
I was just out on Amazon.com, and Firefly is rated the #4 bestseller. Woo and, might I add, hoo.
It was at #2 at one point in the past few days, only behind Cinderella.
That's great news.
I have to say that the first scene with Wash -- you know where he's coming down the stairs being all charming while Mal is all grumpy? -- that scene was bittersweet this time 'round.

Ah. I had missed that.
Have you heard any estimate on the approximate sales figures yet? I thought I had read somewhere that sales were closing in on half a million copies. Or am I totally blitzed out on migraine meds? (Probably staring at a computer screen isn't helping.)
Figures bandied about have included half a million to a million. As far as I know though, the only official number ever given was 200,000 by April 2004.
