She's MUCH prettier in person. Kind of weird for someone in her profession, but I've never quite dug her on the TV show, but she was luminous in person.

Kiba! Was Gina at the premiere? I didn't see her, haven't seen any pics, but I did hear them announce her name before the red carpet.

I didn't see her, didn't find any pics of her, heard no one saw her at the afterparty, I read her name in the PR for the premiere but I was actually already seated in the theater before arrivals began, so I have no idea. I also left almost immediately after I talked to you - like, I said hello and goodbye to Kai, made one circle around the afterparty just so I wouldn't regret skipping it, and went home (migraine).

ETA: ...doesn't Zoe shoot primarily right-handed? I always imagine her with a shot gun hoisted up on her right shoulder, anyway. (I asked this before looking at the poster.)

Two questions for the all-knowing hivemind:

Did anyone make a video of the panel at DragonCon? I regret missing it.

Can anyone point me to a photo of Morena with her new haircut, against a light background so the cut can be seen clearly? I want to get my hair cut like that. (Not being stalkery - I have hair like hers, and I love that look.)

Zoe normally has her gun in her right hand and the holster on her right hip. (Clearest mental picture I have of this is from Serenity, when she's down on the ground after she's been shot and she pulls her gun with her right hand to shoot one of the guys trying to ride away.)

So yeah, the original shot was flipped.

I realize it doesn't matter to most people. Stuff like that just sticks out for me. Just like how in the assorted paintings for the Dragonlance series, any time Cameron is shown using a weapon in his right hand it makes my brain instantly go "That's wrong, he's left-handed."

Which new haircut, Zenkitty? The one she had for those glamour shots of the cast, or the one from the L.A. premier? (Which seemed to be longer again.)

ETA: Okay, it's a bit longer at the premier than in the glamour shots, but still much shorter than it was in the series and movie.

Well, yeah: she has to get back into character for Serenity 2.

I think a short-ish do and a simple elegant dress work a lot better for Morena than long curls and dressing like a 16th century Turkish princess. Though the latter look was character-appropriate, of course.

Watched the rest of Disc 1 and all of Disc 2 today. This is a very good show. And Jewel Staite is SO HOT.

The reason Serenity's ass-end lights up? Kaylee's in the engine room.

Jewel is cute. Morena is beautiful. Summer is hot. Gina is... I think amazing is the only reasonable word. Gorgeous. Statuesque. Classic.

Summer's my favorite, but I have a weakness for waifs.
