Nilly -- I just had a thought -- you should put up a link (as we get nearer to the 30th) to where the FF Spoiler discussion starts talking about the movie, since a lot of people will want to read it.
'Sleeper'
Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.
So Nilly doesn't have to risk spoiling herself, first full-on discussion of the movie post pre-screenings starts here: Jen "Firefly Spoilers" May 5, 2005 10:32:38 pm PDT
Okay, dang. Having spent a couple of hours making a ghastly night of insomnia less ghastly by roaming around Cafepress, I gotta say that most of the Firefly/Serenity stuff out there is just incredibly funny and fun and cool and that the fandom is a bunch of seriously clever people, but this person's original art? Is just utterly fucking beautiful.
When I get paid on the first, I'm dividing my teeny little fun-stuff budget between the Eugene Browncoats and that shop.
JZ, 11th hour has been making Firefly guerilla marketing art for a few years now. Universal was so impressed with her stuff that they hired her to do all the art for the Serenity RPG. Pretty cool.

Oh, that is so awesome. Go team her! Her work is lush and detailed and just ridiculously gorgeous.
TiVo just (like in the last hour) gave me a Serenity ad/trailer.
30-second spot also seen during Once Upon A Time In America the other day.
There was an ad during "The Mummy Returns" on TNT last night.
I still haven't seen an ad. It's obvious I don't watch enough TV, though I'm not really inclined to change that.
Ad during Prison Break !
I'm going to try to have a marathon this weekend to hook a few of my friends, so that we can all go see the movie next Friday.

I just wanted to read that again.
