Yep, you do - this is what Gus was saying. You should be able to drop thousands of dollars on stuff and only be mildly annoyed.
In fact, that should be true of all Buffistas.
'Just Rewards (2)'
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

Ooo. A friend gave me a black t-shirt with the Serenity logo on it. I'm wearing it to work Friday. It's shiny.
There was a Serenity promo on House tonight.
I was on the phone, and had to tell my mom's partner to wait. The squeeing was a bit loud. Oh captain, my captain!
I thought of renting the theater here, but it's $500 plus all of the tickets plus concessions plus we would have to do that 10:30 am thing, or perhaps 12:30 pm. What a ripoff! I still haven't heard if Serenity is even going to be here on time. I'm normally pretty civic minded, but this jury duty that is keeping me in town when Serenity is starting elsewhere and maybe not here has me all feh.
Ooh! Firefly preview on NBC! First I've seen.
Oh, happy dance for me! I just heard from the local movie theater that they will be opening Serenity on September 30th!!! Yippeee!!!!
October's Premier (Silver with Charlize Theron on the cover) has a brief two-page article on Serenity (mostly talking about how Firefly got cancelled and Joss managed to make it into a movie) as well as a separate mention of NF doing the Wonder Woman spin during the Serenity panel at San Diego Comic-con.
The Universal site just updated the Browncoats store with new merchandise, including tickets to the LA premiere. Those will set you back 10000 points, though.

Yippeee! That's awesome news.
Huh. I do have cable service with them, yeah, but I don't know if there's a local store anywhere. Which means someone would have to come by to give me the box, which is where the stupid fee comes in.
Hmmm, don't know if it's the same now, but there used to be an area on the comcast.com site where you could search for the stores in your area.
Yup, it's still there. Click on what's in my area, put in the zip code, then click on My Account and Payment Center, and it'll bring up any that are near to you.
I saw a Serenity commercial on SciFi Channel last night during Ghost Hunters. They're everywhere.
